Scavenger Huntin'

A different view
1.16 (hand)
There is very little privacy in Motherhood.  It's a commodity that sort of vanishes briefly at childbirth and wanes to non-existence soon after.  Doors, though once very effective for asserting one's desire for personal, private time, are ineffective. Close one and hear wails of abandonment, chaos and kid fights, or incessant knocking.  And so, you leave it open and accept that you are the center of attention all the time.  Even in the shower - especially if it has glass doors which you have to close to avoid puddles of water, but which really aren't doors that hide anything.

Why Ashley Sisk, guest judge chose this photo: "Love this shot too - that little hand is so sweet. It's like he's saying "let me out."

Love, love, love your different view. So many times I have seen that little hand, cheek, nose pressed against my shower door. :)

Thank you so much for your comment on my site. I love the twists in Tessa's hair. It was our first time and did result in some tears....and several lollipops!
