There are a million things I want to do with my life when I grow up... though, lately, it seems that I'm already old and am merely waiting for my kids to grow up and be who they will become. Not that I'm hurrying them along - - in fact, if I could, I'd rather keep them young, innocent, and dreaming forever.
But Mommy needs to wake up and make her own dreams happen - to set the example.
And so, though I am resolute in not making a resolution, I am going to vow to wake up. The coffee is brewing, now. I'll pour it into my snazzy new mug.
I'll sip gingerly at first - pacing the awakening as I caffeinate my ambition. And soon, I'll drink in deep; indulging my dreams one at a time, reaching for each in turn.
Another pot will brew on standby just in case doubt tries to make me rest.
I'll push myself, press on towards the vision. Shake off the weariness, open my eyes, and awaken to success on my horizon.

Wow, I love the way you captured images and words for that quote - I almost wrote to it but ended up with #4 instead. Go out and catch those dreams!
I love that you are going to embrace and enjoy life's moments. Because, really, that's what it's all about, right?
I'm not one for resolutions either. Awakening is a state of being and good luck with it.
I love you have extra pot for back up. Great post!
I have felt a tension since having children as far as following my own dreams. Part of the problem was that I had to awaken to my dream, as well!
I enjoyed your post--visiting from Mama Kat's!
Loved your take on this, and the pictures.
Stopped in from Mama Kat's.
Such a great post! I love your coffee mug!
Stopping by from Mama Kat's. I love your mug, I'm waiting to move so I can purchase mine because I'm sure it will break beforehand! I also love this entry, so well written and inspiring.
Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment...which led me to your wonderful site! LOVE your pictures! They are so joyful and really capture a moment. That coffee mug is awesome! Have a blessed day.
Love the pictures, and the mug! I totally need that for me Dad. He would love it :) Thanks for stopping by the other day. It is so true that we need to set a good example for our kids because we are who they learn the first lessons from. The lessons that will hopefully stick with them through their lives.
