A moment of calm

I think I've shared photos like this umpteen times...

Nope, I've no idea how many "umpteen" is, but I suspect it is a lot.  But every time I manage to capture a moment of Yadon in a state of calm, of quiet, of peace, I am positively giddy.

You see, now that the boy is two, Ya is often a blur of activity, personality, and attitude.

Have you ever been "shush"ed by a toddler in public?  It's quite embarassing.  So is being told, "Don't tell me to shush!"

I'm a bit amazed that I've not taken a real photo (save with my phone) since December began.  Yikes.  Anyway, this image was taken on Thanksgiving.  I liked the natural haze coming from the window light.  And though it is a bit lighter in some areas than I typically like, I think it adds mood and atmosphere.  I thought about adding a texture veil, but didn't have a clue how I wanted to transform the picture.  I really want to use my veils!

This is really sweet. BTW, thanks for stopping by. Apparently my reader has decided to drop a few blogs off my feed and I don't know who I'm missing. I have been missing your feed for days so I've added it back in. I hope you're having a wonderful weekend!
