I have no teenage children - - yet.
[Unless you count up the 120 or so I'm charged with at work... and I suppose you could, seeing that I have each one for no less than three hours a week.]
But there is no shortage of angst (aka anxiety) and attitude in my household.
At any given moment, one or both of my children is dreading something - whether it be a photo shoot with mommy again, homework, or bedtime. Now, certainly, we can avoid (or put off) all of these for a few minutes or so if I desired to, but why?
So because we don't allow delay, I'm left with quite a few looks like this one modeled by Ya. Who knows what he wanted or didn't want to do? I imagine it'd make a fantastic FaceBook or MySpace profile photo - one of those stick it to the mom type images the kids love to put up [only without the usual solitary finger salute I see so often].
A glimpse into my future, no doubt. And though he's the one with the attitude, I'm going to be the one with the angst.

Ha...well, he's a doll, so I can only imagine how it will be! Saying a prayer now. :)
I am in love with that face! Only one so absolutely adorable can pull that off!!!
This is absolutely priceless! Great processing, too! I'm always in awe of teachers who are out there every day with little ones to come home to. I remember those days all too well. I thought they'd never grow up and then it happens in a blink of an eye. :-)
love it..what beautiful children you have even when scowling, lol. I also like your editing. ~Diana
Love, love, love this!
I hope it makes his wedding video one day.
Precious boy. It makes me giggle.
Cool post processing! It really adds to the drama of the expression.
Wow, what a powerful photo! love it!
By the way, thanks for letting me know about iheartfaces. I wasn't familiar with that site. I look forward to entering for the silhouettes challenge.
I love the raw emotion you captured in the photo. And the processing matches his mood perfectly! I love this and agree it is a powerful picture!
Oh, my! Just goes to show that the most important thing about a picture is the subject. Love this photo. Love the edits. Love it!
His attitude is adorable! I know those expressions very well.
