Sunday Scavenger Huntin'

Water

Activity
action!
I wasn't sure I'd catch a shot of Dorado in action, but I sort of like the flurry of movement.
Quote
joyful heart
I discovered Chi had claimed my pashmina for a head wrap "to keep my braids out of my face" yesterday.  It looked so perfectly wrapped, I insisted on a few photos. Chi and I confered about which quote our shoot best conveyed.  She picked the one on her photo, and since we're working on esteem right now, I agreed. I also considered this one:
Question: What do you want to be?

Answer: I would like to be myself. I tried to be other things, but I always failed.

Page 25 of Magazine
amid the mess
I looked through several magazines seeking inspiration. Would you believe that page 25 is almost always an advertisement?  Four different magazines use this page for that purpose with every monthly issue. Hmm?  The ad that won comes from Lowes, "Spend time on what you value most."  Compared to the surplus of hair ads, it was the one that spoke to me.  And so, here's a photo of my guy amid the messy clutter of my room... I'd rather capture an expression, play with him, or just observe rather than constantly straighten up.

Love your interpretations this week - especially your quote shot. I also think it's interesting that the advertisement gave such great advice. I like it.
