In {sweet} excess

I know I'm a bit [a teeny, tiny bit] too click happy.  I know it.  And I really don't care.

There are only a few problems with my... uh... obsessive compulsion with my best friend, Cam.  Where do I keep the photos?  Do I print them out (like I used to do until the boxes of 4x6 and 5x7 photos were too overwhelming to sort and design into scrap book pages)? Do I actually open up one of the photo organization system discs I have laying around my craftspace?  Or do I continue filling poor Tetra (the external drive) until she can't hold any more?  And how do I decide what to share and what to simply archive for who-knows-what in the distant future?

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh

It's become quite a dilema as I hone my craft, evolve my style, and play with my creativity.

I am trying to diversify my subjects... but then I fear I might miss something amazing that my kiddos are getting into.  It's like every day they find something new to do.

Take this trip to the grocery store.  It was hot outside, so I carried my camera inside with us.

Chi learned to pick out the perfect ear of corn

And she found cucumbers on sale. Yum!

Mommy bought three Pink Lady Apples to photograph "an apple for the teacher" in honor of my return to the classroom.  But we got a little hungry, so I cut one into pieces and we shared it.  Later, the kids were in a snacking mood and devoured the rest of my photo props.  I was a little annoyed, but hey - - it was food, and a healthy choice, right?

And so, I decided my peppers would have to serve as my subjects.

Ya wanted to sample these subjects as well...

and so he stole my beautiful orange pepper.

I am cracking up at them eating your props! My kids ask "Can I eat this or do you have to take a picture still?" LOL
Here's mine

Oh I just love your post! Your little prop munchers are quite adorable.

To say I'm click happy is an understatment. And I'm still not sure what to do with all my photos.

I had to relent and buy a new "tetra". My laptop denied my last upload of pictures because I filled my 288 GB allowance LOL!!! I decided to go back through them and deleted some and edited some others that I never got around to.

Great pictures-- peppers do make fabulous subjects.
Love your gadget pet names. I suppose I should also name my poor anonymous hard drive.

Heeheeee-- my kids try to get into every picture I'm snapping. Which is usually just fine, but every once in awhile I end up with the top of someone's head or the blur of a body jumping in front of the camera! Gotta love kids! :)
