Signage

This particular sign is probably pretty obvious to most, but I swear there are just too many arrows...

I'm probably hyper sensitive to signs anyway, seeing as how Ms. GPS has steared me into hysterics and misdirection more than once...  And knowing that she has no idea that my house is not a big empty field, gets me a little nervous about her abilities.  So signs and landmarks are my guage of direction - an internal navigational instinct, if you will.

Men?  They seem to prefer to caucus about directions. And on the road, they pull out maps. 

As a last resort, when the gas tank is on empty and the bladders are full, they resort to asking directions at gas stations.
