Blogapalooza Begins

Okay... so being the inquisitive person that I am, I had to figure out exactly what a "palooza" was before I could begin this 24-hour marathon. 

According to the Wiktionary:

An exaggerated event.

According to the Urban Dictionary (which seems to invite the "average Joe" to define words in culture, so I'll clean up the definition):

A crazy or wild party that extends a long period of time.

Well, that certainly qualifies this blogging endeavor as a palooza, right? 

And so it begins...

Based on those definitions, I might describe my job as a palooza.  The school year is definately exaggerated and wild (though hardly a party).  Parenting is probably a palooza, too.  I mean my every day as a mom is CRAZY and my kids are exaggerations of personality and energy.

I think that starting today, I'm going to have a life-a-palooza... making sure that every day has purpose. Yeah, that sounds like a good idea.
