She brings me joy

Mother Nature gave us quite an array of weather this winter.  And because much of her efforts were spent blanketing the area with snow, we've had to be pretty strategic with our outdoor trysts.  I ♥ Faces almost gave Chi an opportunity to act out her favorite childhood book, 10 Silly Monkeys.  Almost.  Mother Nature, it seems, knows that Mommy Rachelle doesn't like anyone jumping on the beds, so she gave us a reprieve from the keep-you-indoor snow, sleet, hail, and rain.

And being able to go outside without a parka, seven pairs of socks, gloves, hat, scarf, umbrella, tights, leg warmers and three layers of shirts made us...

I must admit that this was a fun shoot for us.  Chi jumped.  And jumped.  And jumped some more.  From the ground and into the air.  Off the ledge to the ground. Leaping.  Twirling.  Wiggling toes in flight.  And then Ya decided he could jump, too. (Too adorable for words, really.)  And the laughter we shared was much needed.
